Terms and Conditions

Using this website
The information on this website is general information about nutrition, health and functional testing. It is not medical advice and is not written for your situation. Please do not start, stop or change any medication, or put off seeing your doctor, because of something you have read here.
We work to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise that every page is complete or current at all times.
What we do, and what we do not
We provide nutritional therapy and functional medicine support. We work alongside your doctor, never instead of them. We do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, we do not prescribe medicines, and we will never tell you to stop or change a prescribed medication. Only the doctor who prescribed it can do that.
If something you tell us needs medical attention, we will say so and ask you to see your GP. If anything is urgent, contact your GP or call 111. In an emergency, call 999. Messages to us are not for anything urgent.
What we ask of you
- Tell us everything relevant, including all medications, supplements and diagnoses. A plan built on incomplete information can be the wrong plan.
- Tell your doctor what you are doing with us, particularly any supplement, if you are on medication or under specialist care.
- Tell us if anything changes, especially a new medication, a pregnancy or a new diagnosis.
- Stop and contact us if anything we suggest makes you feel worse.
Results
We cannot promise an outcome. Bodies differ, and how much changes depends in large part on what you are able to put into practice. What we do promise is that every recommendation is reasoned and explained to you.
Booking and ordering
All clinic bookings and test orders are made through Practice Better, our online clinic. Before you pay, you are asked to read and sign our Terms of Engagement, which is the agreement between you and Ultimate Health. It covers how we work, cancellations, refunds, testing and your records.
Prices on this website are confirmed at the point of booking or ordering. Test prices can change if the laboratory changes theirs. Every test we sell comes with a written interpretation, because a test result on its own is not advice.
Your 14-day cooling-off period, and what can and cannot be refunded once a session has taken place or a kit has been sent, are set out in the Terms of Engagement.
Supplements
Where we recommend a product, we are not its manufacturer or retailer. Please buy from the source we name, because quality varies, and check the label against any allergy you have. If you react to something, stop and tell us.
Your privacy
How we collect, use and keep your information is set out in our Privacy Policy. The choices that are yours to make, such as whether we write to your GP or record your calls, are on our consent form, which you complete before your first call. You can read what it asks on our Data protection and consent page.
Our content, and your documents
The words, images and materials on this website belong to Ultimate Health. You are welcome to share links to our pages. Please do not copy, publish or sell our content without asking first.
The plans, reports and handouts we write for you are yours to keep and to share with your doctor. They remain our copyright, so please do not publish or resell them. Each one is written for you, and it is not safe to pass on as advice to someone else.
Links to other websites
Where we link to another website, we do so for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they contain.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with anything, please email [email protected] first, so we can try to put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can refer your complaint to the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) at cnhc.org.uk/concerns-about-practitioners, telephone 020 3327 2720.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. We are not liable for any loss caused by relying on general information on this website instead of seeking advice for your own situation, or for a decision taken against our written advice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to your use of the website from the date it is posted. If you have booked or ordered, the version that applies to you is the Terms of Engagement you accepted when you booked.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live outside the UK, you may also have rights under the law where you live, and nothing in these terms takes those away.
