Reverse Osmosis (RO) is recognized by experts as the best technology available to remove the widest spectrum of contaminants found in drinking water (e.g. bacteria, virus, flouride, arsenic, dissolved heavy metals, nitrate, microbial contaminants, salts).

What Is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a process by which water molecules are forced through a 0.0001 micron semi-permeable membrane by water pressure. Long sheets of membrane are sandwiched together and rolled up around a hollow central tube in spiral fashion, commonly referred to as spiral wound membrane. RO membranes are available in different sizes for processing different quantities of water.

The RO membrane is housed in a housing so that pressure can be maintained on its surface. This pressure forces the water through the membrane, separating it from the unwanted substances like dissolved chemicals, heavy metals, suspended solids, arsenic, salts and other impurities. These unwanted substances are diverted to a waste drain so that they do not build up in the system, thus keeping the RO membrane clean.

UltraPure has a complete line of Reverse Osmosis System to suit almost any application for homes, offices, factories, restaurants, aquariums, fish farms, ships, etc.

UltraPure’s RO systems range in capacity from 50 to 800 gallons per day and our Ultra Low Pressure RO systems from 20 m3 to 40 m3 per day. You can reach Ultra Pure with our contact Byron Ho and he can be reached on +(65) 6440 3680 for those that live in Singapore. Tell him that you learnt about this from Tania and he will look after you. I do not get any kickback, if I did I would pass it on to you 🙂 Do check out your local supplier for those that live in other countries.
