Nutritious Snack

Another Grab and Go, healthy snack. Make instantly from ingredients you can have in the larder. Great car snack.


  • 3 Flax crackers
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • Bunch of Basil
  • 1 Tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 Cup Hummus
  • Season with your favourite pepper and spices

These avo flax stacks are great to build for lunch or enjoy as a snack. Its also a complete meal if you want something lite. The flax is loaded with omega 3, the avocado has all the good fats and the hummus is packed with good proteins are carbohydrates that are packed with nutrients for the gut, slow releasing energy and fuelling you for longer.

How to Make

Use 3 pre-made flax crackers (Flax Cracker Recipe) and spread a layer of hummus (Hummus Recipe or store bought) over the flax cracker.

Place the sliced avocado onto the hummus and top with one or 3 basil leaves.

Then stack them up and enjoy. If you like more season then liberally add. Pepper works well with the tomato.
